The right tool for the right job

You wouldn’t use a 9-iron on the putting green.

Just like you wouldn’t use a cleaver when mincing garlic. Or shouldn’t, anyway.

Every tool is built for a job. You pick the one that fits what you’re doing, and you don’t think twice about it.

We do this with everything except reading glasses.

Where readers came from

Reading glasses were only ever built for one distance.

About 14 to 16 inches. That’s a book in your lap, and that’s the whole design.

Your phone sits closer than that. Your monitor sits further. The person across the table is further still. So you push them down your nose to see past them, or you take them off, and you do that all day.

Most people deal with it by buying a bag of cheap pairs and leaving one in every room. The kitchen, the car, the nightstand. But they’re all the same glasses, so you’ve just made the same compromise easier to reach.

Three tools, three jobs

So we built three.

Each one covers a different stretch of your day. Pick the one that matches where you actually spend your time.

Designed with intent

Each range has its purpose.

The EV6 is the desk lens. 18 inches to 6 feet, which covers your phone, your keyboard, your monitor and whoever is sitting across from you. Nearly the whole lens is usable, so you’re not hunting around for a sweet spot.

The EV20 covers a room. 20 inches to 20 feet. A book in your lap, the TV, the person on the other side of the sofa.

The EVinfinity handles near and far together. Look down at your phone, look up at the road. It’s the one you want outside and behind the wheel.

That’s the whole reason many people end up buying more than one pair of EV Readers. They recognize that they need to use the right tool for the right job.
