Very clear lenses, I think it's worth the extra 50 for glass after a year with the poly lenses (which are fine) I definitely can tell the difference with the high index. Ombraz in general are the most comfy glasses I've ever owned ive had 5 pairs and had great customer service with them at first and lens and frame since my eyes started going downhill

This is my second pair of prescription Ombraz from Lens & Frame Co. I simply loved my first pair so much that I wanted another style. My new sunnies are amazing - the prescription is right and the style is correct and the process was easy.
First time with Ombraz.
Couldn't wait to receive them! I just had cataract surgery on both eyes and it was incredible my recovery at 73 (wore glasses since 3rd grade). Prior, I wore trifocals and now have long distance and colors as I felt I never had. I hate using "reading glasses" but truly need them and was hoping my improved prescription (new eyes) with the new Ombraz would negate having to have two glasses vs. one for outdoors. Alas, I unknowingly sent in only the "Distance" prescription and not the "multi-focal" prescription my doctor issued on two different copies - I failed miserably to look at them both carefully (doctor never said anything, I thought I just received 2 copies). I almost missed the 30 day deadline but Lens & Frame Co quickly responded to my inquiry thru their automated response with an RMA, and shipping label to send back so they could correct my mistake. Hopefully, I'll get them back in time for my vacation (they said two weeks after receiving them - great!) and I will be able to see distance and close up to read a map or stare at my iphone. My only quibble about this whole process its AUTOMATED - no one person to call or talk you thru (I wanted a certain "height" for my bifocal progressive lense and their was no listed response for this request that I saw). And there appears to be TWO sides of this transaction to navigate; the Ombraz and the Lens & Frame so you need to make sure all your wants & choices follow all the way thru - somewhere my brown rims changed to charcoal but it could have been me at fault. Again, I am looking forward to getting the Ombraz progressives and my new eyes can't wait!

How long does it take to make my glasses?
Approximately two weeks once we have your prescription and pupillary distance (PD).
Can I use a prescription from my eye doctor?
Yes, we accept standard prescriptions from any licensed optometrist or ophthalmologist.
What is your return and warranty policy?
Free returns within 30 days of delivery. Frames must be returned in original, unworn condition and we'll provide a prepaid return shipping label. All custom prescription lenses include a one-year scratch warranty — if your lenses scratch within one year of purchase under normal use, we'll replace them free of charge.
