How does Read My Rx work?
Upload a photo of your eyeglass prescription. We read the values on it, tell you which lens type it calls for and email you the results.
Is Read My Rx free?
Yes. It’s free, with no purchase required.
What file types can I upload?
JPEG, PNG or PDF, up to 10MB. A phone photo works.
Is my prescription data private?
Yes. Your prescription is analyzed securely and not shared with third parties.
Can I use a contact lens prescription?
No. Contact lens and eyeglass prescriptions measure different things, so you’ll need your eyeglass prescription. If you upload a contact lens prescription, the tool tells you.
What if the tool can’t read my prescription?
It tells you. Try a clearer photo in good light, or contact us and we’ll help.
Do you ship internationally?
No, we ship within the United States only. Every pair comes with free returns, free lens remakes and a one-year scratch warranty. Keeping our shipping domestic is what lets us stand behind all three.
