We make RAEN prescription eyeglasses in the Beal 48, Del, Doheny 53, Doheny II, Nolan, Townes and Welk, with lenses surfaced to your prescription and PD in our California lab. Each comes single vision or progressive, with clear lenses or our Indoor / Outdoor lens tint option. The Nolan and Beal are our RAEN bestsellers.

Our Indoor / Outdoor lens tint option works on every RAEN eyeglass frame. The lenses are clear indoors and become grey polarized sun lenses outdoors, so one pair covers the walk to the car and the desk. It adds $100.
For long drives in the sun, dedicated RAEN prescription sunglasses stay fully dark behind a windshield.

Digitally surfaced
Computer-guided equipment cuts the curves for your prescription into a single lens blank, accurate to a hundredth of a diopter.
A full stack of coatings
An anti-reflective layer stops bounce-back glare. Oleophobic and hydrophobic layers keep fingerprints and water from sticking. A hard coat goes on last to resist scratches.
Edged for your frame
A multi-axis edger cuts each lens so your correction sits exactly in front of your pupils in the frame you chose. We inspect every lens at every stage. If we find a blemish, we start over with a fresh blank.

Can I get progressive RAEN glasses?
Yes, in every RAEN eyeglass frame we sell, if your prescription has an ADD power.
What is the Indoor / Outdoor option?
It’s our light-responsive lens. Your lenses are clear indoors and darken to grey polarized sun lenses outdoors. They block UV and blue light all the time. It’s a $100 option on prescription eyeglasses, single vision or progressive.
What prescription do you need?
Any licensed eye doctor’s eyeglass prescription works. Upload a photo or PDF when you order, or send it later from the link we email you. A contact lens prescription measures something different, so we can’t use one. Our team reviews every prescription before we start.
How long does it take?
About two weeks to make your lenses, counted from when we have your prescription and PD. Shipping is free and takes about three days. Faster shipping can’t shorten production.
What’s your return and remake policy?
Return them within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Within 60 days we’ll remake your lenses at no charge for any reason, or exchange them into a different frame style or color. Scratched lenses are remade once, free, within the first year.
