Lens & Frame Co. makes Ombraz prescription sunglasses. You choose the Ombraz frame and fit. We digitally surface polarized sun lenses to your prescription and PD in our California lab. They come single vision or progressive, in Grey or Brown Polarized, or with a mirror finish for $50 more. Ombraz sells its non-prescription sunglasses itself. We’re Ombraz’s prescription lens partner.

Made for days on the water and the trail
Without arms, Ombraz sunglasses sit lightly and stay put with the cord. They work under a hat or a helmet. Worn loosely, they don’t fog.
Progressive Ombraz let you read a phone, a map or a watch through the bottom of the sun lens. We use our sport-style progressive design, chosen for the widest field of view.

How we make them
Lenses made to your prescription in California
Digitally surfaced
Computer-guided equipment cuts the curves for your prescription into a single lens blank, accurate to a hundredth of a diopter.
A full stack of coatings
An anti-reflective layer stops bounce-back glare. Oleophobic and hydrophobic layers keep fingerprints and water from sticking. A hard coat goes on last to resist scratches.
Edged for your frame
A multi-axis edger cuts each lens so your correction sits exactly in front of your pupils in the frame you chose. We inspect every lens at every stage. If we find a blemish, we start over with a fresh blank.

Choose single vision or progressive. Eyeglasses come with clear lenses or our Indoor / Outdoor lens tint option. Sunglasses come with Grey or Brown Polarized lenses.
Add your prescription and PD
Upload a photo of your prescription when you order, or send it afterward from the link we email you. Our team reviews every prescription before we start.
We make them in about two weeks
We digitally surface, coat and edge your lenses in our California lab. Shipping is free and takes about three days.

Ombraz sells non-prescription sunglasses at ombraz.com. Lens & Frame Co. makes the prescription versions and handles those orders.
Can I get progressive Ombraz sunglasses?
Yes, in Grey or Brown Polarized, with mirror finishes available.
Can I put prescription lenses in my Ombraz?
Yes. Prescription sun lenses for an Ombraz frame you own start at $390. We email a prepaid label to send us the frame.
What warranty covers Ombraz?
Ombraz’s lifetime frame warranty covers the frame. Our one-year scratch warranty covers the lenses.
How long does it take?
About two weeks to make your lenses, counted from when we have your prescription and PD. Shipping is free and takes about three days. Faster shipping can’t shorten production.
Can I use FSA or HSA?
Yes. FSA and HSA cards work at checkout for prescription glasses. We’re out of network for vision insurance, so we send you a detailed invoice to submit for reimbursement. Insurance details.
