And while we’re at it we also calibrate and lubricate the hinges before your reading glasses are packaged and shipped to your doorstep. Our lightweight frames are constructed from sustainable cellulose acetate and finished with genuine rivet hinges to create a unique look on your face and a sturdy feel in your hands. Our acetate frames are polished to a beautiful gloss or tumbled to reveal a soft matte finish that slide easily on and off your face.
We love working with acetate because we can create nearly limitless colorways and patterns. And the material is highly adjustable so you can personalize the frame to fit your face perfectly. Tighten the frame fit by gently bending the temple tips to hook a little more tightly around your ears – this will prevent the frames from slipping down your nose. Or relax the frame fit by gently straightening the temple tips to loosen the fit around your ears.
