Great Sunglasses Great job on the Progressive lens

I am looking for glasses to minimize the rustling sound with my hearing aids, so I thought I’d give these a go. Didn’t really help the rustling noise, yet the quality of the glasses is great, I have the progressive lens and they are better than the ones I got from my eye doctor and they were ordered in the same week. Highly recommend.

We aim to deliver a premium product - a higher level of quality than one might expect from 'online' or 'direct-to-consumer'. So glad to hear we exceeded expectations - especially when it comes to Rx Progressive lenses! Thank you for trusting us with your vision :)

Glasses are great, very comfortable. I am using them for many outdoor activities and especially like the design for those requiring a helmet. I am having issues with the lenses getting fogged much more frequent than with other glasses (perhaps with this design they just ride closer to the face). I would recommend purchasing the anti-fog coating. I wish I would have!

Thanks for your candid feedback. Yes, the Ombraz armless design tends to sit a little closer to your face causing fogging to be a bit more of an issue than with 'regular' glasses. We recommend trying to wear your Ombraz with the cord a little looser, relaxed behind your ears, and this will allow the frame to sit a little further away from your face. Even just a couple millimeters gap between your face and the back of the frame can be enough to allow for some air to flow through that gap and prevent your lenses from fogging up. The Ombraz armless design is engineered to balance well on your nose even while the cord is somewhat slack or relaxed.

Also known as ‘no-line bifocals’, Rx Progressive sunglasses help you to see clearly into the distance and up close. With Rx Progressive sunglasses you’ll be able to drive – and easily glance down to view your screen for directions, or enjoy your outside activities – and easily look down at your phone for text messages. As we age our eyes tend to lose the ability to focus up close. If you wear reading glasses, then you already know what we’re talking about. If you’re not sure if you are a candidate for Rx Progressive lenses, check your doctor’s prescription to see if you have an “ADD Power” (the magnification power required to help you focus up close) – usually listed on your Rx Script after Sphere / Cylinder / Axis. If you don’t have an “ADD Power” indicated on your doctor’s prescription, then you don’t need Rx Progressive lenses.

Our mission is to get your glasses done right. Period. That means we’ll work with you to return or exchange your eyewear if something isn’t right. If you don’t love the frame style or color you selected, send them back to us within 90 days and we’ll make a fresh pair of lenses in a different frame style or color – at no charge. Sometimes a new doctor’s script is a little off; no problem! Just send us an updated doctor’s script and we’ll re-make your lenses at no charge. That is what we mean by Glasses Done Right.

Say “goodbye” to squinting. We choose to make our prescription sunglasses with premium polarized lenses because polarized lenses eliminate irritating glare to produce a super clear and comfortable viewing experience in all outdoor environments. And all of our prescription sun lenses block harmful UV rays so you can get outside and protect your eyes from the harsh elements.

Ombraz Rx Progressive sunglasses are custom made just for you in our California lens lab with state-of-the-art equipment including digital surfacing, in-house coatings, multi-axis lens edging, glazing and finished by hand in the frames of your choice.
